I was just at the dentist. That fucking "Do They Know It's Christmas?" came on the sound system. Confirming that dentists are sadists.
Once again, and I say this every year, Ethiopia has one of the world's oldest Christian communities. SO YES THEY FUCKING KNOW IT'S CHRISTMAS, SIR BOB.
I'm not so sure it is meant to be taken so literally. I think it's saying compared to the way we in the West celebrate Christmas with all the over the top excess. I'm sure Geldof and Ure knew they know it's Christmas. Anyway the only thing I like about that song is the sound of the drums. It's far from a great Christmas song.
I refuse to believe this! Ure, maybe. But not Sir Twit.
Well I don't care now anyway as I just burst out laughing at this post. I had to look twice as I was certain you had put Sir Twat.

Pentatonix - Jingle Bells

I've encountered this group for the first time this holiday season, and I find their performances so grating that they're almost unlistenable.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

That made me want to smash things up.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

I would cancel the friendship with anyone who likes that!
