Great drum intros...
I'll start with these two...
Forces have been looting
My humanity
Curfews have been curbing
The end of liberty
We're the flowers in the dustbin...
No fuchsias for you.

Could easily have had Do You Love Me by KISS in there, I pondered it.Marky Dread wrote: ↑17 Dec 2018, 5:19pm...but no KISS, Starship or Phil. Huh call yourself a music fan?

Maybe not what you're going for, but for setting a mood, the eerie and minimal percussion at the start of "Bela Lugosi's Dead" works for me.

Not exactly however it's a fantastic mood building start to a track so it's in.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑17 Dec 2018, 5:38pmMaybe not what you're going for, but for setting a mood, the eerie and minimal percussion at the start of "Bela Lugosi's Dead" works for me.

I've got an irrational pet peeve about YouTubers who put incorrect lineup photos on songs they upload. Yo!...half those dudes were dead by the time this song was written!
Re: Great drum intros...
Is Revolution Rock too short an intro? Drips with that classic Topper touch...

Re: Great drum intros...
Not sure if the topic is drum solo intros or drums that are part of the intro. I've always liked the drumming at the start of XTC's Funk Pop a Roll.
