I think Ali and I are going on Sunday. It looks interesting. And I hear it’s frank about his issues in a way most sanctioned ones aren’t.

I think Ali and I are going on Sunday. It looks interesting. And I hear it’s frank about his issues in a way most sanctioned ones aren’t.

Oh yeah, no glamour in his drug use - which is pretty in keeping with his public statements about that time. Great, great use of his music too. It's often dreamlike and a bit surreal in a way that puts it a cut above the usual biopic.

My wife and I were at my brother-in-law and his husband's house having brunch, which is up the hill from the old Tower Records. (they are since divorced, so does gay marriage really work?

) So then social media blows up that EJ is having a free concert in the TR parking lot, less than the length of a football field away. I wasn't gonna let the sun go down on me, so we took it to the pilot and checked it out. I hope you don't mind, I hope you don't mind all the puns, but I think it's gonna be a long long time before something like that happens again.
