Re: Friday Poll Thread #6 - Best Jam Album
I want to change my vote to Sound Affects after some reflection. I originally went SS - but SA has some really great songs and it's probably a bit underrated as it followed SS. The live set included in Fire & Skill from just before SA was released is a monster, too. Live - the songs sounded really incredible. Set the House Ablaze is particular highlight.

Fantastic song, the riff is perfect. The 7 dwarf style whistling just ruins it for me though.WestwayKid wrote: ↑23 Apr 2019, 10:58amI want to change my vote to Sound Affects after some reflection. SA is great but it just doesn’t have the raw energy that makes AMC so great with songs like A Bomb and Tube Station.

Yep, big fan of the song despite the blatant rip off. There's no whistling in it though so that's a plus.Marky Dread wrote: ↑23 Apr 2019, 3:45pmCheck out Helicopter by Bloc Party.BitterTom wrote: ↑23 Apr 2019, 11:08amFantastic song, the riff is perfect. I fucking LOVE whistling in songs. I also love flutes.
I'm glad Marky remembered this fact.
