Vanilla is the best selling ice cream flavor. McDonalds has sold hundreds of billions of their "hamburgers".
I’m going to say a controversial statement: vanilla ice cream is, on average, actually more flavorful than most chocolate ice cream.

Vanilla has flavor, damn it.

I enjoy vanilla too, but I'll take say a Cherry Garcia over just about anything.

My original point stands though, broad appeal is not a measure of how good something is. Budweiser, Miller and Coors are the top selling beers in the US but I would never confuse that as being synonymous with them being the three best beers.

Jesus, I think we are all failing at proving our point.
What was it again?
That Coldplay are boring sucks who suck?
I do like the Viva La Vida song, I thought that was a good melody. I think they pinched it though.
What ive heard of theirs bores me to death.

I literally could not tell you how any of their songs I’ve heard sound other than dull.

I've heard loads of their stuff. I bought the Brothers and Sisters EP and I've got the first two albums. A couple of tracks are okay after that everything is just one big bore.
The drummer supports Raith Rovers and he plays in Coldplay. Everything in his life must be just one big bore.
For a guy who couldn’t play drums and stepped in to help out as the rehearsal was at his flat to now being a multi millionaire musician I’d suggest he is pretty happy with his lot and not too bored.
I'll take what you've said, and I don't know if he's improved on drums, I'd really have to listen to them again, but he cannae be exited watching the Rovers at the moment? Give me that.

He could be the greatest drummer in the world and even the richest man in the world. But you know what he's still the drummer in Coldplay who supports Raith Rovers. ;)

Can we have just one amazing and pure story about Pete Doherty fucking up in a new and exciting way without comparisons to that stupid sonic movie being made?

He’s not the greatest drummer. When Coldplay were in the studio for the first time Martin was told by the producer that the drummer (his mate) was crap and that they would never make it with him so Martin sacked him. Some time after the session Martin realised he had sacked his mate so he reinstated him and admitted it was wrong.

He sacked him because he supported Raith Rivers not because he was average as a drummer.
