And a fantastically awful movie.
Didn't know it was even a soundtrack, not worth a watch then?
Maximum Overdrive? God, yes, seek it out immediately. It's awful and showed King that, huh, maybe you aren't the best cinematic interpreter of your own work, but a lot of fun in its wretchedness. Whenever it's ever on tv, I always stop and watch for at least fifteen minutes or so.
i'd have to agree. in fact it's probably been 20 years since I've seen it, could always check it again
And you could post a review (hint hint).
well that goes without saying!

my wife's fave AC/DC song is "Who Made Who"
Good song from a weird compilation.

Just read the synopsis of it, sounds hilariously bad! Must find it, I'm guessing it's a bit of a laugh, maybe not in the right way though!

That was deep into King's cocaine days, as I recall.

Thhpptt. Before the Harvest albums were re-released in the late 80s(?) or early 90s(?), all I had from that period was this wonderful greymarket compilation:

The sleeve image makes zero sense in connection to the band or any of the first three records (save for the blue sky of Pink Flag), but I love it all the same. No idea what happened to that record. Probably traded it in once I had the proper records and later needed the cash. :meh:
