2 Tone is about to turn 40. This is a thing of beauty and great to see Jerry Dammers involved.
I don’t need it but I can’t resist it.

Yeah, this looks delicious. The kind of fun you want out of physical product.

Maybe they'll eventually re-release the 'Dance Craze' film. It captures 2-Tone at its peak and apart from the brilliant live footage is a fine piece of sociological history (man). And ideally, with a theatrical release - it would be fantastic to see on a big screen, at full blast.
I didn't realise the effort which went into the film, technically speaking. It was recorded on 24-track rather than just mono - the Clash certainly didn't get that lavished on them in Rude Boy - and with a view to widescreen release. I found this article about the making of it - a lot of the technical stuff is way over my head but video/film makers (TeddyB?!) will love it.
Hopefully the film will rise again.

Hello,

Dance Craze is great! I still have my DVD (although I usually view on youtube these days). I'll buy a ticket if it gets released to theaters. It does capture a lot of the feelings/excitement of the time and movement.

Be great to get the album repackaged with all the extra tracks. Realise this may be difficult contractually as Madness we’re dropped from the CD release for this reason.

I'll happily skank in the isles if it gets re-released.

So do I, especially for a football team as they are renowned for bad gear.
