Karma Chameleon was fucking awful on every level, like some kind of insiduous Cajun nightmare. Their three previous singles were pretty good pop songs which made it more disappointing.

Yeah, the best of the three but I thought George did a good vocal job on Do You Really Want To Hurt Me.Marky Dread wrote: ↑27 Oct 2019, 8:10pm"Church of the Poison Mind" is the only one I care much for.

I was just reminded of how much I dislike "Don't Worry Be Happy" by Bobby McFerrin. It gets bonus points for an annoying video too.

Surprisingly never a hit in the UK. We do have a bit of taste.

Re: "Classic" 80's songs you can't stand!!!
Love that song. It's fucking great. My hard rock cover band played that and in our repertoire of like 80 songs, that generally went over the best.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
