Point taken, but c'mon, I like KISS!

There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

As someone who only really wants them as a thrash band, I’d’ve been fine if they broke up after releasing the Black EP.Kory wrote: ↑02 Dec 2019, 2:00pmThe first four are some outstanding thrash, the Black album is ok. I really wish they had continued on with what they were doing on Load and ReLoad. Not that I listen to either of them more than once every couple of years, but I super respected them more than before for wanting to do something other than thrash and clearly believing in it. I was really disappointed when they finally capitulated with St. Anger (not just because of its obvious sound quality issues) and Death Magnetic.

These are some great songs. I wanted to vote for Jack and Diane, but Eileen is just too good.
Also, like me some Metallica. Can't say I'm a die hard fan by any means, but have liked plenty of material from 84-96 or whatever.

Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
