I feel I didn't vote against JBG as it doesn't belong on that list for me.

As for Simply Red I like their first single "Money Too Tight To Mention" which is a cover version.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑05 Feb 2020, 2:14pmHis total cool number is still in the toilet, tho, right?Marky Dread wrote: ↑05 Feb 2020, 2:12pmAs this is a Clash forum it has to be noted that Mick Hucknalll is in the classic "So It Goes" footage of the band playing at the Elizabethan Suite, Manchester.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑05 Feb 2020, 10:39amYup. The only cool thing about Mick Hucknall was that he was at the legendary Pistols show in Manchester along with future members of Joy Division, Mark E. Smith, and Morrissey. He loses all those cool points, tho, for making shitty white soul music.
After that I'd sooner hammer nails into my feet than listen to him.

JBG is a good song but I would rarely choose to put it on compared to others on the list.

Well, I've played it 4 times today since it was mentioned in the list. Haven't played any of the others.

Nah, knew I'd be in the minority with this but Chuck just isn't my bag personally.Silent Majority wrote: ↑05 Feb 2020, 2:50pmWell, I've played it 4 times today since it was mentioned in the list. Haven't played any of the others.

Bob Marley in a photo finish from The Verve.

I guess I listed order of artist preference. For songs swap Nancy and Bob. 1 and 2 remain. All the rest I recognize as horrible.

My take is to think of having to listen to the playlist 8 hrs a day for a week. In this scenario the "best" song is the song I would least get sick of hearing.

To be fair to them, their playlist supposedly has thousands and thousands of songs and it's on random.JoseUnidos wrote: ↑05 Feb 2020, 4:16pmMy take is to think of having to listen to the playlist 8 hrs a day for a week. In this scenario the "best" song is the song I would least get sick of hearing.
