Going with Chuck Berry, as is almost everyone else it seems, but that IS a mostly pretty good collection of songs. Nancy would be a close second in my books.

I almost voted Nancy until I read it more carefully. I cannot in good conscience vote against JBG.

I feel I didn't vote against JBG as it doesn't belong on that list for me.

Yup. The only cool thing about Mick Hucknall was that he was at the legendary Pistols show in Manchester along with future members of Joy Division, Mark E. Smith, and Morrissey. He loses all those cool points, tho, for making shitty white soul music.

As this is a Clash forum it has to be noted that Mick Hucknalll is in the classic "So It Goes" footage of the band playing at the Elizabethan Suite, Manchester.

His total cool number is still in the toilet, tho, right?

He was in a punk band called The Frantic Elevators who did an ok track. As for Simply Red I like their first single "Money Too Tight To Mention" which is a cover version.
After that I'd sooner hammer nails into my feet than listen to him.

It's OK but after that first album everything is bloody awful blandness.

I guess I listed order of artist preference. For songs swap Nancy and Bob. 1 and 2 remain. All the rest I recognize as horrible.

To be fair to them, their playlist supposedly has thousands and thousands of songs and it's on random.
