Not sure how I feel about this whole thread.
It's definitely starting to remind me of American Psycho.

There are Phil Collins songs I have no strong negative feelings for, but none I love.
You're getting soft Wolt.
Nah. I’m just picking my battles. I refuse to care that much about him.

Movie. I had a hard time with the book, though I've always meant to retry it. The language was so dry compared to the over-the-topness of the movie that I was a bit turned off.

I liked the book more than most people I know, but it was so, well, rambling that it could have been three hundred pages shorter or longer. The movie was clearly tighter and more purposeful, but I lean to the wider indictment of 80s greed in the book.

I'll give it another try. You were right about the chapters in Our Band Could Be Your Life that I was going to skip, so why not about everything else in the world?

Edit, this beautiful, atmospheric number has to be added. I'm assuming nobody will take to it too much but I love it.

I thought this was going to be a #MeToo moment.
I feel that there is a fascistic element, for example, in the Rolling Stones . . .

An ad for a radio station came on tv. A taxi driver idling and "his song" just came on and makes him feel good about things. It's that Satanic cover of "You Can't Hurry Love." Fire bomb that radio station and the ad agency.
