The Official IMCT Apocalypse Soundtrack

Post by Inder »

Rules: everyone gets two song selections, which can be split across two posts. The songs must be apocalyptic in lyric/music/theme/etc. Playlist order is the order in which songs are posted, so choose strategically and thematically!

In case of dispute, the Heston Protocol will be activated and the accused must defend their selection to the rest of us.

As I understand this is a Clash messageboard, I'll start --

1. The Clash - Stop the World

Depeche Mode Shake the Disease (not apocalyptic or even about disease, but the title works and Martin's background vocals are so soulful):

Got a Rake? Sure!

My ultimate apocalyptic song, even the haters can't stand against this one.

Bob Dylan - Desolation Row

Gonna think on my second slot. Lotta options out there.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Pex Lives!
