Seems like he has a good sense of humor at least:
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Ok so we potentially have 2 separate weeks where a tie is the result, so I'll do a poll before the final to battle the 4 tunes (6 if next week carries on the same!) for a spot in the final.

this is the first time there's been more than zero or one good songs! I also went with Byrds

We beach the beachheads other armies cannot beach

I'm surprised. I would have bet Olaf's right nut that Zep or the Mamas and the Papas would have one this fairly comfortably. "Mr. Tambourine Man," tho, is the most historically significant of the batch, tho, as it's arguably the first folk rock song.

I realized that I NEVER change the station when it comes on, and the song really feels like it's over in a minute. I'd have to look it up, but I'm guessing less than 2:10. OK 2:18

Kids these days don't understand that in the good old days, if a song went on for more 2 min 25 sec, a domino would fall and the Viet Cong would get a little closer to Mainstreet, USA.
