Had only seen one show before this - Springsteen & the E St. Band the previous November. That's the 2nd best gig I ever saw. This is the second gig I ever saw, it still holds the # 1 spot for me. (David Johansen and the Undertones opened. $7 US. Not bad VFM for a 15 year old jerk, yeah?). Oh yeah - Graham used this shot for his entry for the show on BMC.

I hung on to my Clash ticket from the Pier show 8/31/82 until I traded it to someone on Jeff Dove's site for about 3 bootlegs. Whoever it was used it as a cover for a bootleg he was making of that show. I may have a scan somewhere but that was a few laptops ago.

Okay so here's some I did go to. I wish I had started collecting tickets earlier. Although a lot of the small gigs I attended only gave out a cloak room style ticket or a hand stamp.
