Funnily enough I was watching some early manics footage last night and it was a gig where the soundman had his guitar louder than James', it was pretty ok actually.

Basic rhythm guitar no problem.

With James in the band that would suffice! But yeah, he was as there for his lyrics and his look.

James is an amazing guitar player and vocalist.

He might actually be underrated. He managed to set those lyrics to music excellently. And he’s a dynamo on stage. Very charismatic.

Yeah the band look good. And the dustman on the end is a nice touch.

Fine band all said and done. If they had been around in the late 70s they would've been in the top 20 like The Piranhas.
