Johnny 7 and probably a couple more I've forgotten too. There's an albums worth of first rate material there.Heston wrote: ↑22 Jun 2020, 5:04pmIndeed. No Change is another cracker. I'm not a big fan of later SLF but that's another good one.Low Down Low wrote: ↑22 Jun 2020, 5:22pmJohnny 7 and probably a couple more I've forgotten too. Think so. Thought the song i was thinkin of was a hit but had a listen and that does sound familiar so must be it. Good live version too.daredevil wrote: ↑22 Jun 2020, 10:38pm"Homebreakers" from Our Favorite Shop (Internationalists in the USA)?Low Down Low wrote: ↑22 Jun 2020, 3:20pmThink i recall Mick Talbot singing a Style Council song i liked but cant remember name of it.

The Cars are an interesting one. While Ben Orr might not be the recognizable front man, he did sing lead on several of their better songs and bigger hits: Just What I Needed, Moving In Stereo, Bye Bye Love, Let's Go, It's All I Can Do, Candy-O, and Drive. Interestingly, he didn't write any of those songs.

Well, this one just came up on shuffle. Had no idea I even had that song somewhere. Pretty damn good.

Not to mention they had a pretty similar voice, it's not like when Ben sung the whole sound was differenmt or anything.WestwayKid wrote: ↑23 Jun 2020, 7:33pmThe Cars are an interesting one.
