Toyah - Neon Womb
Not actually a serious nomination, but does anyone else remember Shoestring?

I recently bought the box set mate. Watched it with my mum. That was a fun episode.

I remember taping the songs off the TV with a radio cassette recorder. I think the family were under strict instructions not to make any noise.Marky Dread wrote: ↑30 Jun 2020, 3:05pmI recently bought the box set mate. Watched it with my mum. That was a fun episode.
Was the series still a good watch or did it seem a bit dated? I haven't seen it for ages.

Yeah it's dated but I did enjoy it. I like Trevor Eve.laxman wrote: ↑30 Jun 2020, 5:15pmI remember taping the songs off the TV with a radio cassette recorder. I saw her last Summer at one of those shows where they have loads of 80s acts doing a few songs. It was at the rugby club just down the road from where we live. She was good. Sonia less so, although fair play to her, she did well considering she had her wrist/arm in plaster!101Walterton wrote: ↑30 Jun 2020, 5:23pmI remember seeing Toyah live early 80’s, always a great show. I don’t think her early albums do her justice.
