What didn't you like about the first minute, out of curiosity?Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑21 Jul 2020, 6:01pmCurious song in that the first minute or so, I wasn't feeling it, but the longer it goes, it really finds its slick groove. Has a real Stephen Hague feel to it.

Not liking it would be an overstatement. But it felt herky-jerky, Once the vocals and especially the chorus arrived, that seemed to bring it in to a more comfortable rhythm. Of course the rhythm doesn't change, but the other elements blended it, I suppose.Kory wrote: ↑21 Jul 2020, 6:42pmWhat didn't you like about the first minute, out of curiosity?Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑21 Jul 2020, 6:01pmCurious song in that the first minute or so, I wasn't feeling it, but the longer it goes, it really finds its slick groove. I would usually put these in the "Question For Heston" thread but this place seems more hip and happening. Here's three new tunes we've been working on over the last few weeks if anyone fancies a listen...

Just in our rehearsal room on a digital 16 track. All the tracks are mostly live except for some vocal tracking and bolstered guitars. Here's our place...
