Unless people post bands local to their area or something I can't see it not being on YouTube.

Fair enough, good shout

Who's in then folks?
...and if the 5 tracks you choose are not on YouTube?
Unless you get really obscure I think most stuff is on YouTube these days. Could you not upload it to YouTube if it's not on there?
Never uploaded anything to YouTube that's other people's jobs. :approve:

I haven't picked anything as yet so I was just asking.
Or just some other means by which someone could listen to them.

Hello,

As I have a distaste for rules, I'd agree to any 5 songs by anybody. Ratings will send the final message to the poster.

Just eke them out over the course of this thread. It will hopefully run a while.

And keep them pre-1985

I've pretty got my 5 and some were fairly obscure. Found a b side only available on vinyl to a single nobody bought, on an album not many heard and by a band people know little of.

I'd be surprised if YouTube doesn't work for this.

If I can find the b-side to a flop 90s Showaddywaddy single on there, you can find anything.

Yeah. YouTube is like this musical treasure trove of obscurities I would have killed for in the 80s. Just about anything is at your fingertips within a few seconds, even if it's your cousin Barry's band who did a few demos in a disused warehouse in the mid 80s.

I can’t find EVERYTHING on youtube, but I once found a song from 1996 by my friend Andrew’s band who only released in in a single 500 print run that mostly sold in Japan.

Me too, then I realised I was. Had to work at the weekend so I'm having a delayed Saturday night.
