I will get on Olaf's picks tonight, as was my intention. Tuesday night is music night in the Heston household.
Get Down Heston. ;)

I think I was after Olaf last time, actually.
All yours then Doc.
Several regular commenters haven't chimed in on Olaf's (revbob, Heston, Marky), so we should let them have their say.
Apologies, didn't want to come across badly or sound like I was ignoring certain reviews, only intended to make sure the thread didn't lose its pace again with the weekly postings and end up with a week, or longer with no new reviews.
No apologies necessary. It's hard traffic copping this thread when the momentum has slowed so much. Keeping track of who is participating is hard stuff.
Hence my alphabetical suggesti...ah never mind.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Or just know your spot in the queue and who comes after, to do your part in moving the line along.

Quit smoking and lose that beer belly pops and I'll entertain this challenge.

I guess I will have to go back a few pages to find out what all this Wiggy giggy-ing is about. Seems I completely missed that.
Page 84. You're in for a treat.
It really was a treat. Probably my favourite of the bunch, and they were all pretty good.
Who pfaffed the pfaff? Who got pfaffed tonight?

I checked Olaf's tracks tonight, will post my review tomorrow. Why nothing from the first Scorps album?

Or the Uli Jon Roth solo albums for that matter.

Am Landwehrkanal
Kind of reminded me of a German version of the Sensational Alex Harvey Band. Not really my thing, a bit too ponderous for my tastes. 5/10

Nina Hagen - Keine Macht Fur Niemand
A bit abstract for me. 5/10

Stereo Total - Cannibale
This is a bit better. Nice abuse of the "My Sharona" riff and some nice dark melodies. Quite enjoyed it. 6.5/10

Josh - Cordula Grün
I started out disliking this intensely then it started creeping up on me. Quite anthemic in an understated way. 7/10

Seeed - Wonderful Life
Gotta say I prefer the original. The loping reggae vibe is a good idea but I'm not sure of the execution. 5/10
