The hot dogs I buy come with ketchup already inside the bun. 1 minute in the microwave...ping!

1. Headbutt - The King Blues
Didn't do much for me, but the monkey was cute. 3/10
2. Chevy Thunder - Spector
I like that. Glamourous rock'n'roll. Lyrics a bit too Springsteenish. 7/10
3. In My World - Lindsey Buckingham & Christine McVie
Thought it started out really atmospheric, but didn't like the chorus much. Maybe 5/10
4. Special Shades - French Films
Yep, dig that one a lot. Similar to no.2, just a tad more original. 8/10
5. Psychedelic Shoes - Etubom Rex Williams
Pretty cool sound. Kinda like Bob Marley meets Sixto Rodriguez. In Nigeria. 7/10

I may finally get some love for the Fleetwood Mac song but I'm not holding my breath.

Headbutt - The King Blues. Different though not totally to my taste. Verses musically a little simple but the style of vocals redeems it. Good, solid chorus that I really enjoyed. Overall not bad. 6/10
Chevy Thunder - Spector. Comes in pacy with a good driving beat. Don't like the chord change on "drive, drive, drive" but "Chevy, chevy thunder," is cool. Like the fairground sounding organ as well. Middle 8 is ok. As is the song, just ok for me. 5/10
In My World - Lindsay Buckingham & Christine McVie. This got a bit of airplay a few years back on Radio 2 so heard it a number of times. Verses have a good rhythm and the sort of mysterious guitar sequences are right up my street. Chorus is ok but doesn't quite match the verses. Overall good, my favourite so far. 7/10
Special Shades - French Films. Vocals sound messy here. Not doing much for me. Verses very basic, the pre chorus doesnt work for me. Actual chorus quite nice. 2nd chorus again nice organ (matron!) leading to a nice guitar noodle. Strange ending. Not my bag sorry. 4/10
Psychedelic Shoes - Etubom Rex Williams. Nice rhythm, really nice. Like Matey I was debating what time sig this was. I'm going for 6/8. Not something I'd usually listen to but really enjoying this. It feels like a mishmash but it works perfectly. Big percussion section in the latter part? Fits perfectly with the bass and guitar joining the fun a little later. Really, really enjoyed this. 9/10.

Well it looks like my "afterthought" song was the most liked. Probably should have chosen 5 afterthoughts. Every song got at least a 7/10 so fairly happy with that.
