Any chance of a US tour this time around you think?
They have to come here at least one more time surely.
I really hope so. I would love the chance to see them again.

Thanks Marky, for both your fantastic work but also spotting this. As a general rule of thumb, their duets are great.
I remember the girl in the vid from some episodes of "Luther".
I haven’t seen Luther or Peaky Blinders. I mention that because I got this in an email;

Manic Street Preachers release the second track from their forthcoming album ‘The Ultra Vivid Lament’ today.

‘The Secret He Had Missed’ features a vocal from Julia Cumming (Sunflower Bean), set over a tumbling Abba-esque piano line. The video for the single stars Newport born actress Aimee Ffion Edwards (Peaky Blinders) and was directed by long-time visual collaborator Kieran Evans in Tenby and Newport’s Dolman Theatre.

I couldn't believe how loud it was. The worst remaster I've ever bought I think.

Because I hadn’t really listened to it I hadn’t more than glanced at the deluxe book, but I looked through it listening to your remaster. Something like that, with photos of the Australia, NZ and other tours will go nicely with the Rat Patrol deluxe version next year.

Does anyone have the demo version of Love's Sweet Exile (titled Faceless Sense of Void)? It seems to have been eradicated from the internet. It's vastly superior to the glammed up GT version.

This is it live. I love how Richey is sitting not even attempting to mimic playing for half the song.

I really wish the Manics would re record GT as a raw punk record before they decide to call it quits. I love the cock rock of the original but it would be nice to hear it as a straight forward punker.

So my question to Mr. RNRW is why as a big Manics fan did you not already have it?

Oh and just to prove I'm all heart.

Here is the track that pre-dates "Faceless Sense of Void" / "Love's Sweet Exile".

"Just Can't Be Happy"

Have fun ...stay beautiful.
