More poll fun
Which side of the Atlantic do you stand on?
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

I must admit "Living In America" is fucking great, and I don't mean that literally.

The hip consensus maybe but I've never rated it that highly.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
Pex Lives!

Another vote for Bowie "Young Americans" here.

Re: More poll fun
I dislike English Rose. Went with American Girl, though I was waffling on Living cause James Brown and Rocky IV and Young Americans.
English Tongue by Palma Violets might be my write in favorite from that side of the Atlantic.

Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Also, anyone who picks "American Pie" should be drawn and quartered.

i think i'm one of the only quasi-apologists for that song and even for me it's... substantially the bottom of this list of songs.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑14 Apr 2021, 6:43pmAlso, anyone who picks "American Pie" should be drawn and quartered.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
