30 YA: Genesis scored their 5th UK No.1 album with 'We Can't Dance' (no shit?), featuring the singles 'Jesus He Knows Me' and 'I Can't Dance'.
I read something this morning about the current Genesis tour. Phil is so much of a gimp now that he sings while seated the whole show. Okay, that's unfortunate he's in so much pain, but why the fuck are you doing this? You guys can't be broke.

Hello,

They enjoy it, it keeps Phil Collins off the streets, I'm guessing some people actually show up for their shows, ... okay, I'm done. Anyone else?

I counter with John Lennon circa. 1971 about people moaning about the Beatles being gone: the records still exist, you can still play them if you need to hear them.

DB Cooper was 50 years ago today. He didn't have any songs though

Not exactly, but in a round about way.

I'll never forget the first time I heard "I Am the Walrus". Completely out of my head on some "herbal remedy" (cough cough).

The chanting at the end really made my head spin. No longer partake of such things, but amazingly I can still recall it vividly!

Yesterday & 45 years ago: Anarchy in the UK is released. Now, if they can just get some proper promo for the thing on television, they could be big. Like, Lt. Pigeon big!
