Late to this but what an album, pretty much every track a winner as I recall. Don't think they ever topped Basket Case either, personally speaking also it made me feel less alone when I was going through a particularly shit time mentally and as such, will always love it.
Yeah, it's a great fuckin' record. They put out some decent (occasionally quite good) music after that, but I think that was their last truly great end-to-end record.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead

Also goodnes gracious that review must have been ghost written by Suzyn Waldman.
I so love-hate that clip so much. I don't even think it has anything to do with disliking the Yankees. It's such a "man walks on fucking moon" delivery on such a small matter.

I remember the incident. I was painting our bedroom and listening to a Yankees game on the radio. It was a very surreal moment.

And now, every time you look at that spot on the wall you were painting, ohmygoodnessgracious!

Recent ep from Beato on this. Great highlighting of the baseline at 6:40 that I had never consciously processed.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Well there's a lot more TO hate. You have to spread it around wisely.

I'm a couple of days late but 30 years ago the movie Wayne's World was released and I'm pretty sure Queen record sales skyrocketed from the use of "Bohemian Rhapsody" in the movie.
