Agreed. Not the biggest Bowie fan here, but always adored this and Scary Monsters.

19 years ago today we lost Joe Strummer. I recall hearing the news of his passing and it really hit me, I think I realized that my hero's were growing older, which in turn meant I was as well, although sometimes I feel like I'll never "grow up".

Really, feels like yesterday i was on a bus into work when i heard the news on the radio and had to get off at the next stop and went wandering, ultimately to the pub where I sat for hours trying to take it in. Still feels unreal, never realised how young 50 was till I reached and passed that milestone.

It's still such a gut punch.

Totally surprised. I always thought he was younger than this.

1960 - Paul Westerberg
Paul Westerberg, lead singer, guitarist and songwriter from American rock band The Replacements, who released the 1984 album Let It Be. Initially a punk rock band, they are considered pioneers of alternative rock.

Josh Freese who drummed on their last tour, as well as with Paul solo (and many other bands) posted this on his Instagram today.
