Are you watching a dvd or bluray? The tracks were split into guitar/bass/drums/vocals/others.

Then put back together removing most of the synth sounds of horns etc. The bass panned greater to the left channel the guitar greater to the right. The drums and vocal in the centre of the mix but pushed slightly louder. It's not a surround sound. But has way better stereo separation. Anyway glad you are enjoying mate.

Thanks for de-Cluttering the Crap, Marky! TIE, North & South and Three Card Trick are still the best moments for me but your mix does show that the other songs actually do have some melody underneath it all. Well, some of them anyway. It's great to hear the vocals up front.

I wonder if Velvet Underground fans obsess about the album Squeeze in the same way that Clash fans do about CtC? Squeeze has been out of print practically since it came out so maybe it's not as well known. I always thought keeping CtC in print all these years provided a sort of cautionary tale. Or maybe, it was CBS/Sony's punishment for the band and all the shenanigans that they pulled with the label! Although, I just noticed that physical copies of CtC are going for collector's prices on Amazon. Good Lord!
