Re: KISS vs. Swans: The Poll
The low participation in this poll seems like a rejection of both bands. The decision not to offer a "None of the above" option seems wise.

And also the option to change a previously cast vote.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑06 Aug 2022, 1:32pmThe low participation in this poll seems like a rejection of both bands. The decision not to offer a "None of the above" option seems wise.

I wanted to give an opportunity for those who, like me, have rued giving Heston pity votes.revbob wrote: ↑06 Aug 2022, 3:12pmAnd also the option to change a previously cast vote.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑06 Aug 2022, 1:32pmThe low participation in this poll seems like a rejection of both bands. Close the poll, I've won again.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

To the person who changed their vote, do you know what you've done? Do you know what you've done?

This poll needs a Kajagoogoo option.

"White Feathers" I thought you being you would get conscientious pacifism. I mean c'mon man I'm seriously trying here.

Re: KISS vs. Swans: The Poll
You offered me two options with no alternative. Which puts you right up there with British politics in my book. So one day I vote team Heston the next team Doc. Not wanting to take sides and show favouritism to either of my younger brothers.
A no vote at all is a vote for laziness and racists.

What a hideous bargain, marrying pacifism to such limp music.Marky Dread wrote: ↑08 Aug 2022, 9:13am"White Feathers" I thought you being you would get conscientious pacifism. I mean c'mon man I'm seriously trying here.

No bargain the music sucks. It was just a play with the albums title.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑08 Aug 2022, 9:58amWhat a hideous bargain, marrying pacifism to such limp music.Marky Dread wrote: ↑08 Aug 2022, 9:13am"White Feathers" I thought you being you would get conscientious pacifism. Any alternative would have revealed the hollowness of the options. Which … yeah, politics.Marky Dread wrote: ↑08 Aug 2022, 9:19amYou offered me two options with no alternative. I really just don't want to spend much time with either band, but I'll try to weigh in soon.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑06 Aug 2022, 1:32pmThe low participation in this poll seems like a rejection of both bands. The decision not to offer a "None of the above" option seems wise.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Now *that* should have been the third option!matedog wrote: ↑08 Aug 2022, 2:10pmI really just don't want to spend much time with either band, but I'll try to weigh in soon.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑06 Aug 2022, 1:32pmThe low participation in this poll seems like a rejection of both bands.
