Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Alas, his acne scars are the most interesting thing about Bryan Adams.

Have I ever spoken highly of Canadian rock? You're the one with the Burton Cummings tattoo on your ass (or so I've been told).

That's a pretty open-ended notion of taking the bait—any response would fit. I assumed that taking the bait would require some level of outrage or disagreement about the merits of Canadian rock.

I just threw up a little in my mouth. But not as much as when I learned he had a song entitled, "The Only Thing That Looks Good on me is You."
Plus, did you ever notice every single song title of his is a cliche?

It's amazing how adding a "b" to a name can turn great into suck in approx. 30 seconds.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Great? "Not altogether awful" I will accept, but "Great?"

I thought I was the Minister of Hyperbole in the IMCT Cabinet.

Whiskeytown is a great band. Faithless Street is a great album.

I guess his solo stuff is less that great, but mostly better than "not altogether awful"
