For reasons inexplicable to me I checked out the wikipedia on Matchbox 20 and learned that they started out years earlier as Tabitha's Secret and, sure enough, there's old moldy early-to-mid-90s footage of proto-matchbox 20:

Some real crap.
It has a Hootie and the Dave Matthews Band vibe.

Are you purposefully trying to jerk him off?

You know he was already spent when he posted that.

Well, there's that thing about being "Two-Dozen Wiener" Flex and all.

I had a weird epiphany last summer where I thought, “hey I actually like MB20,” but I couldn’t never make it past one song. That shit got old remarkably quick.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

He and Kory should come to town for two nights of 311

You're talking about luring and eliminating them, right?

i WISH I was that cool
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Pex Lives!

This feels like it belongs here. Legend of The Blessed Decade, Coolio, dead at 59: https://pagesix.com/2022/09/28/rapper-c ... ead-at-59/

He had some indelible hits in the heart of The Blessed Decade. 59 is awful young and I hadn’t heard anything from in forever. I hope he was at peace at the end of his life.

Apart from being one of the best songs of the 90s, I just love the controlled aggression of it all.

So glad I got to see them on the reunion tour, they were on fire.

I read this the other day and thought the timing was a bit off. If I was still a PW fan, I don't turn 40 for another couple months. There's gotta be people my age that continued liking them after 8th grade.
