This could also go in the Hoy thread.

lol we’ve all been there.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Audioslave was alright. A handful of good songs. A huge drop off from both Rage and Soundgarden but I don’t dislike it.
This is a killer riff. I liked them, didn't LOVE them but they were good.
From what I see there's still a little hope

Have we had a wellerdog before? Is that what Audioslave fans are known as?

I think the Audioslave and Foo Fighters venn diagram must be a nearly perfect circle.

Both are solid examples of being well less than the expected sum of their parts. Hmm, that's a thread idea …!

Tom Morello is one hell of a guitar player and anything he's doing is worth my time to check out. For any band, for me, its the songs, the riffs, you never know where you'll hear a good one.

I have nothing against Morello, I just found Audioslave to be too uninteresting to listen to.
