Buckcherry? Ian has the justification to murder him if he tries
They sold a bunch of records right? I'm not really sure since I think they suck shit.
I just remember the “I love the cocaine” song which was and I’m sure still is dumb. Did they do that horrible Lips of an Angel song too?
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Never heard anything by Buckcherry and I'm sure they are terrible. I only know Steve Jones had a hand in producing their debut.

Apparently I was confusing them with Hinder. But Buckcherry did do that dumb cocaine song.

Even Hinder confuses themselves with Buckcherry I think.

20/20, I knew all of them affirmatively except "monet" which I'd never really heard before but was able to get through process of elimination. I can't say I used... any of those terms myself during the Blessed Decade. Terrible turns of phrase.

I got 17/20, with some educated guessing on several. Basically, the ones that got adopted and lamed by white people were the ones I had no problem with.

100% right. Probably because I was age 13-23 in that decade unlike those too young to actually remember how shitty it was.

Missed this discussion, but I saw them at grant park during a free festival and I still think I overpaid. Wretched band.

Was that in that movie? It has been... a long time since I saw that movie. I have the soundtrack tho, since it has an exclusive mix of the Bosstones song.

That one did take me a second to get, but I did remember the Clueless connection. 20/20.

It was! It's when Tai asks Cher if Amber is pretty because she is dating Elton, whom Tai had a brief crush on. Cher responds by telling Tai that Amber is a "full-on Monet. From far away she's fine, but, up close, she's a big 'ol mess."

The stage dive Dicky does in that movie is so awkward. Their song was also used expertly in the trailer.
