Circle Jerks, 7 Seconds, Negative Approach tonight!!!
Haven't seen the Circle Jerks in many, many years, but I'm sure they still put on a pretty raucous show.
Great show. I saw someone wearing the Sparky t-shirt too. I even ventured into the pit for Wild in the Streets for the first time in close to 30 years.
Sounds like it was a blast, thanks for the update.

Also J Mascis joined Negative Approach for a few songs near the end of their set. They also dis great covers of Borstal Breakout and I Gotta Right. 7 Seconds did the best cover of 99 Red Balloons ever.

Wow, sounds like one of those "shoulda been there" shows.

Just saw Pearl Jam in Hyde Park twice. They sell buttons at every show and night one’s button had The Clash’s logo with Pearl Jam’s name over it. Thought they’d play a Clash cover because of that but it didn’t happen (which isn’t a bad thing, not a huge fan of their Clash covers).

Nice! I've seen both once each when I was much younger, I'd definitely go see them if they played locally.

X was great, but they started about 10 minutes before advertised show time, so I missed the first two songs:

I liked the Furs; Richard Butler's got a distinctive voice that I like and it has held up over the years.

But every song seemed to have a saxophone solo or two that went on way too long.

I think horns should bring brief accents to the music for the most part, and long solos bore me.
