Blondie and The Damned! Will be sweating to the oldies
Ate they on a bill together?
Yep!
Goddamn. Would love to see them add a date in Colorado. Haven't had a chance to see either band yet (Blondie, particularly, always seems to be touring with mega-ass rock bands when they hit Denver). This would be an ideal bill.

They are still great live (or at least were when I last saw them six years ago). I wish this tour was coming here!

Yup touring together, playing 2 dates at Pier 17 in NYC, it ain't cheap but I've never seen Blondie before, not sure what to expect. I've seen The Damned at least 20 times and they only get better, one of the most consistently great live bands.

I just saw that Chris Stein has not been playing live with Blondie, he has some heart issues. So it's basically just Debbi and Clem

Shame about Chris being unwell. But think about it like this you are only getting Dave and Captain in The Dammed as original members. So that equals out.

I remember reading an interview about that. He said he had an irregular heartbeat and that the medication causes fatigue. He did say it wasn't super serious, but it impacted his ability to play live.

That is true, and Dave and the Captain is all I need, the rest of the band rocks too though, looking forward to see the new drummer, he's got some big shoes to fill with Rat and Pinch. Maybe Clem will do double duty

If you run in to him again, ask him to head west to the LA area, we'd love to see them!
