I got Bauhaus coming up and three local-ish Poliça shows.

Very cool on Poliça (didn't you say they were splitting sometime back?). Bauhaus, much as I love them, leaves me flat given that they have a Pistols thing going, where Murphy is an exceedingly difficult person, so it's clearly a cash grab. Still, they're all kind of cadaverous looking, so there is some authenticity there.

Yeah I just want to see Bauhaus before they die, I never had a chance before.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑09 Mar 2022, 7:36pmVery cool on Poliça (didn't you say they were splitting sometime back?). Channy had said that after United Crushers Poliça were likely to break up because they didn't think they could support themselves on it. Then she fell off her roof, broke her back, and wrote a bunch of songs while recovering. I guess maybe the response to the new album was good enough to keep them going?

The ep they released with stargazer is quite good, as well. Very glad that they're still active and everything.Kory wrote: ↑10 Mar 2022, 12:08amYeah I just want to see Bauhaus before they die, I never had a chance before.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑09 Mar 2022, 7:36pmVery cool on Poliça (didn't you say they were splitting sometime back?). Bauhaus, if you're into that kind of music, are just awesome live. I've seen them 3 times since the 99 reunion. It's not everybodys taste but I love them. Been waiting for this show since preopandemic

I also met Clem at a show outside of Philly when he was performing with The Empty Hearts. Super nice guy. He took the time to pose for photos and autographs.gkbill wrote: ↑02 Mar 2022, 9:06pmHello,Sparky wrote: ↑02 Mar 2022, 8:44pmCaught the joke, but here's where The Damned & Blondie are playing as well!

And I AM into that kind of music! Good to hear a good review, I'm looking forward to it. And what other chance will I have to be surrounded by Seattle's remaining aged goths?coffeepotman wrote: ↑10 Mar 2022, 9:40amBauhaus, if you're into that kind of music, are just awesome live. I have a chance to see Richie Ramone in NYC at the end of the month? Worth it?

I'd have to think about it, nostalgia is cool, not really up on the opening band, Public Nature, but the tickets look reasonable.WestwayKid wrote: ↑12 Mar 2022, 4:36pmI have a chance to see Richie Ramone in NYC at the end of the month? Worth it?

I got Circle Jerks and Bikini Kill on the calendar right now April and July respectively. Would love to catch Blondie/Damned and Wayne Kramer in NYC this summer too.
Re: So what's your concert schedule looking like?
Pearl Jam announced new tour dates for their 2020 tour so I finally have a concert to look forward to. But of course my show was one of the ones moved all the way to September when others got moved to early May
