Hugh Cornwell in Stockholm in April? I have not made up my mind yet. A Wednesday evening show. It would require to take two days off work and travel to Sweden.

The Violent Femmes are touring in honor of the 40th (!!!) anniversary of their self-titled album. They are going to play it in its entirety. No dates here yet, but I am hoping they add more.

There's a date here in Colorado, I'm highly tempted.

Seems like a good enough reason for me to see them for the first time. Looks like no bay area dates for now (they are starting in CA, but staying down south including going to some place called "Pioneertown"???).
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

He was great when I saw him last year.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Peter Murphy doing his Bowie tribute with Adrian Belew, if it's as good as his Bowie shows 2 years ago this should be great! Hope he shows up and doesn't blow off this show

And they are only doing one night at Fiddler's Green in suburban Denver, which I believe only holds about 5,000? And when I was a kid, Denver was a HUGE Cure town. That was surprising to me. Not coming to the 'Jortsville, of course.
