Then I see this on the horizon ...
Doyle is coming to town. Don't think I would pay good money for it though, maybe Canadian.

No Against Me? I'd be there.
So what's your concert schedule looking like?

It's cliche, bit I think Anti-Flag lost a lot of their fastball when they signed to a major. Good for them, but the music got blander.
Against Me is a great live show imho, but I've seen them perform basically the same set a few times live and I don't think I'd go out of my way anymore (although I'd find them a treat as an opener for another band). Transgender Dysphoria Blues is am all time punk record probably, but I haven't been as taken with their work since then.

Going to see Squeeze in July, who, for some reason, are opening for Hall and Oates.

Maybe they can oversell more tickets that way, expecting a whole lot of people leaving after the opener.

hall and oates is huge with both boomers and millenials for some ungodly reason. it's awful, but no doubt they're considered a marquee headliner these days.

I'm most complimentary to millennials (mainly the students I've had), but it seems like they go out of their way to champion the worst aspects of 80s music. I mean, I actually like several H & O songs, but there is no justification for resurrecting them in any way. Go rediscover the Cars or Talking Heads, ya bunch of snapchats.

The problem is VH wants to stay for H&O. So I will be playing Angry Birds or something.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑29 Jan 2020, 11:46amMaybe they can oversell more tickets that way, expecting a whole lot of people leaving after the opener.

Looking up occasionally and sighing with great conviction, I hope.
