The "I'd Rather Die" Tour

Who opens for whom?
They all play at the same time.
Somehow that's the best possible scenario

Seeing the Stones in Denver. Gonna print out all of muppet's posts about the band here and read them aloud during the concert.

I'm super bumming. A cascading series of bad timing and unfortunate circumstances is preventing me from going to see SLAPSHOT tonight. One of my all-time fave bands, highly unlikely they'll be back to Colorado (since I don't believe they've made the trip since I started listening to them circa 1997), so that's probably about it for me in terms of seeing these guys live. So, so glad I got to see them in Boston a few years back, even if it was just as an opening act vs being a headliner.

Sell the Stones tickets to some dumb Boomer who'll let you make a profit and go see the band you'll enjoy more.

Well, it won't help me tonight, but the second hand value of stones tix probably WOULD pay for airfare for me to go catch slapshot wherever the hell else they're playing.

Addendum: after re-reading, I think maybe you just missed my post above the quoted one. Still, bilking boomers is always sensible advice.

Whoops—I thought the conflict was that both groups were playing the same night (got confused by the switch dates part). Still think you should scalp the expensive tickets, tho. There's a sixty-eight year old in 40 inch-waist jeans who would gladly pay to feel young and certain that he knows what real music sounds like, not like these stupid kids with their, well, he doesn't even want to call it music, whatever it is.

On my way to Blackpool to meet up with Deny for TGTBATQ. He tells me our room has a double bed. :scared:

Yet another Canadian musical atrocity.
