Going to see Squeeze in July, who, for some reason, are opening for Hall and Oates.
Maybe they can oversell more tickets that way, expecting a whole lot of people leaving after the opener.
The problem is VH wants to stay for H&O. So I will be playing Angry Birds or something.
Will there be the opportunity for drinks
Sure. $12 beers and the like.

I think we're going to go to the same show when they play Milwaukee. Still debating how much I want to spend to not stay for the headliner, however.

Keith Morris/Greg Hetson/Zander Schloss/drummer TBD i think. killer lineup. I thought I'd seen the Jerks a few times but they canceled once at a fest some years back and I'm not actually sure I've seen them (I've seen FLAG and OFF tho).

Hey Flex, check your IMCT PMs for a message from me about the Punk Rock Bowling Shows in Las Vegas.

I'm thinking of going this year, and will send you a message soon about that.

P.S. Is tep going, do you know?

Hello,

KISS - Greensboro Coliseum - 2/8/2020. KISS returned to the Greensboro Coliseum for the Final Ever tour (their first retirement show here was 2008). David Lee Roth warmed up. He had a smile like Jack Nickolson from Batman plastered on his face the whole time. Very Van Halen set. I've seen more sincerity from cruise ship performers.
KISS was KISS. To be perfectly honest, it was a fun spectacle. The crowd was very middle-aged with a lot of heavy people. I'll wager it would have been easy to get a lane at a bowling alley tonight (sorry - that reads elitist). Fireworks, confetti, explosions, ridiculous risers, cranes lifting Gene Simmons and whoever their rent-a-guitarist is over the crowd, Paul Stanley riding a zipline over the crowd, a piano rising up out of the stage for Beth (piped in strings), beach balls with KISS logos, you name the rock concert cliche and they nailed it. Pretty much a greatest hits set although some older stuff. I 'd suggest to them to downplay getting cheap heat (pro-wrestling term) by saying "Greensboro" as often as possible. The same holds for the contractually obligated drum solo and guitar solo (2 separate events) - pretty much there to give Gene and Paul bathroom breaks.
Truth be told, I'd do it again. It was fun. To all who mock KISS, I can now say I've seen them and my mocking will have credibility. I'm not planning on buying any of their tracks.

They played a song named Black Diamond as well.
