Looking forward to this fifth box set. Nice to see Toy getting an official release. Different link to Doc's above.

Regarding the upcoming Bowie box sets, kind of disappointed they aren't offering any colored vinyl or picture discs to broaden the collector appeal. Especially considering the Toy album bootleg version has been pretty widely circulated for quite some time.

Yeah. I’ve had toy for like… 15 years? At least? I’ll probably get it eventually, but… c’mon.

Earthling and Toy are 3 sided with an etched fourth side. So I guess that's collectable.

Thanks for clarifying Marky, I missed the part about the etched side. I've been on Rhino's site, but can't seem to find any info on what the etched side image looks like. This was all I could find, perhaps I'm not reading the details closely enough.

Couldn't find any images of the etched sides. But did notice Amazon have Toy box set with 6 x 10" vinyls. Expensive.

Hours is the only one that gives me trouble, although I do agree with Publick and Hammer that it's underrated.

It’s not wall to wall awful. But it’s definitely bottom 5 material for me. My biggest problem with it is that it’s boring. As bad as Never Let Me Down is (and it’s bad), I reach for it more often than hours because hours isn’t a crazy bad thing to grapple with. Just kind of solidly boring, like the dependable but full boyfriend at the start of a romcom who isn’t a bad guy, but is going to be left for the more interesting male lead.

Whereas NLMD is closer to Steve Martin in Little Shop.
