His face is pretty wrinkle free. That's a strategy I might employ to try to stay young looking in the future: pile on the lbs to swell my face and reduce wrinkles.
Works for me. Nobody can believe I'm almost 50. :)

Maybe he should cut back on that Country Life butter?

Or start using it.

Janet Street-Porter wrote quite a defense for him that I read in the Daily Mail (I'm not a regular reader, I promise).

Just watched the American Bandstand performance again. God, it's so perfect, out-doing McLaren's wildest pronouncements about popular music as a fraud. They expose the norm as sterile and false but in a way to bring in genuine spontaneity and fun. Not just critique but showing the alternative to prepackaged life. The beach beneath the street. All while set to music that made zero sense on mainstream television in 1980. As much as I snark at Lydon these days, for three or four years he was at the pinnacle of cultural importance.
Nice interview. I like it when he's not being a complete dick.
It is more pleasing that he's mellowing with age, enjoying his many accomplishments, tho he has a habit of downplaying his diva turns in the past. It's okay to admit you were a prick unnecessarily in the past.
