85% but almost completely educated guessing.
20/20, you gotta look for the working man of the people phrases. Fucking Yeats isn't using "ain't" and talking about his 57 chevy.

A couple I got wrong was assuming the lyric was too good for Bossteen.

I got one wrong. It sounded Bruce-y but I couldn't pinpoint it, so I guessed not and was wrong.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Oh, it was a lyric from Bobby Jean. I hate that song, so I'm okay not getting it.

Somewhere, muppet and Chico, feeling a disturbance in the Bossforce, simultaneously wince in pain.

Racing in the Street doesn't do much for me either. And Drive All Night is abysmal.

I think I like Drive All Night, but I can't remember how it goes. I keep thinking of the Cindy Lauper song.

It certainly has the more memorable video.

But do you think she could tune up that motor like the Boss? Unlikely.

Hello,

I'm sorry if this really doesn't belong here (there is a mention of Bruce in the piece) but there bigger idea would be the similarities. It's a kind description of Mellencamp. I've found his music to be pretty boring and dislike the message in some of his songs ("Hold on to 16 as long as you can" - yeah, life really sucks after you're 16) but can appreciate his thoughts on Reagan.
