There’s a death metal ice cream truck trekking the U.S. serving up a heap of disappointment

Have you bought this? Tho I'm not (sorry to say) a Fugazi fan—love the principle, the music has never fully appealed—the concept of this sounds wonderful.
Listening now, it's fairly interesting. Very much a sound collage experiment, but sounds a LOT like a late Crass album, especially with the amount of hectoring vocals.

Recommend or is it one-listen-and-done thing?

I'm not sure I would ever listen to this again, but it's certainly worth one listen.

Okay, I'll make a note of streaming it.

Listening to the radio on a long road trip home they were playing 3 songs in a row by each artist. Most were pretty good but then they said Van Halen.
I thought I didn’t know 3 songs by Van Halen and turns out I was right!!

Good album but went downhill after that, recovered with 1984 but when Hagar took over, he made some of their best material.

Jump is their only good song. Way overrated band. The first album is ok after that it ALL sucks!

Aztec Camera covered Jump and it's way better than VH.

Kinks "Where Have All the Good Times Gone" (especially live version) has a similar into to Sex Pistols "Problems"

I listened to the live version of "Good Times" from the "On the Road" album and the closest I can hear is the riff to "New York". But I can't hear the similarity in "Problems".
