I've only been using this player a couple of days, but this ranking probably won't change much, as far as The Clash are concerned.

Happy Beatles Day everyone (Feb 4)
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

It's been a long week, so excuse my ignorance (or my missing something I should know), but why is today Beatles Day?

Clue: What alliterative nickname was given to the Beatles when they broke?

I feel like ten years from now I'm going to really appreciate The Weeknd. He's putting out some really great pop music now and I'm just not giving it the time/appreciation it deserves. This is some great synth pop/R&B-
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

This track listing, all under the heading of dad rock, confuses me. Or maybe I just plain ol' don't understand what dad rock is after all.

Avril Lavigne and Natalie Imbruglia as dad rock especially baffled me. I just can't see Wolter rocking out to that while driving to Home Depot Saturday afternoon in his minivan.

In all honestly I think Dad Rock should specifically be the music dads listened to in the 90s forever.
