David Byrne seems like a guy who rejects the idea of doors on moral grounds.

Re: The Mighty Musical Observations Thread
Pretty much this. I initially was thinking more of the music than the band members, so went with House 8. House 2 might be the least irritating people on the whole though, and I’d like the music too, so I'm leaving House 8 and moving into House 2. I’d mostly hang out with the Go-Go’s, the B-52’s, and Ric Ocasek (I’d love to meet Paulina Porizkova).
I think Houses 5 and 6 would be the least tolerable by far, music-wise, and aside from Sade, either one would be a miserable sausage party.

You assume I chose Debbie when in fact she chose me. Still enjoy your entertaining evening with old baggy lapels.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑24 Jan 2022, 5:13pmOne night? From stories I've read about the Go-Go's I'd have to say no fuckin' way.Kimmelweck wrote: ↑24 Jan 2022, 5:01pmPretty much this. Also, how dare they lump Sade in with all that pap.

I think what we're all saying is that we're not up for housemates anymore.

Maybe I should do some more research, but I suspect you’re just trying to put me off so you can hog all the Go-Go’s for yourself.Kory wrote: ↑24 Jan 2022, 7:40pmFrom stories I've read about the Go-Go's I'd have to say no fuckin' way.Kimmelweck wrote: ↑24 Jan 2022, 5:01pmPretty much this. Re: The Mighty Musical Observations Thread
What kind of world are we living in where people like Sade but they don't like Dead Ringer For Love by Meat Loaf?
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board
Re: The Mighty Musical Observations Thread
House 4 has the most fucking. Other than if Jenny ended up in the Gahan house of course. Not saying I’d live in 4 because I would definitely end up in situations I’d later regret.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
