That is really good. I'm not always a fan of orchestral arrangements with rock/pop etc, but when it works, it tends to really work!Marky Dread wrote: ↑31 Jul 2022, 3:49amCheers will check further.Heston wrote: ↑30 Jul 2022, 7:39pmThe album is great. Back to the days when the PMRC were promoting censorship, Dee Snider's stepped up to the plate. He's with the good folks.
Yeah not a fan of the music but yeah he's at least not turned into a conservative dbag in his latter years.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑01 Aug 2022, 8:19pmBack to the days when the PMRC were promoting censorship, Dee Snider's stepped up to the plate. He's with the good folks.

I'm not familiar with Wallen but may I just say, lol: https://www.tennessean.com/story/news/l ... 253959002/matedog wrote: ↑02 Aug 2022, 12:17pmSister in law got married this weekend. There was A LOT of modern country at the wedding which is just terrible and I've complained about it here enough. But during the groom/mother dance, someone next to me said, "Oh, it's Morgan Wallen!" and my immediate thought was "I know him because he was too liberal with the use of the n-word." And then I noticed a few black people in attendance.
I needed to vent about this somewhere because I feel like I complain about my wife's family's love of modern country too much to my wife. The lack of awareness about Wallen was bothersome to me.
In an age where everybody is getting pretty liberal with that word, it's hard to keep track of standouts. I've never heard of him.matedog wrote: ↑02 Aug 2022, 12:17pmSister in law got married this weekend. Neither have I. I don't feel the least bit bad about my ignorance.Kory wrote: ↑02 Aug 2022, 3:04pmIn an age where everybody is getting pretty liberal with that word, it's hard to keep track of standouts. Oh yeah, I think I remember that news cycle now.matedog wrote: ↑02 Aug 2022, 3:44pmHe's huge in the country world apparently. Looks like he's won country artist/album of the year on the CMAs the last couple years.
Naturally because everything's awful, after his n-word controversy, his album says skyrocketed. In fairness, he did donate a decent amount of money to black causes following the surge in album sales. At least they realized how bad those optics were.
My guess is they like most sensible people dont know who the fuck he is and just recognized it as the bad music it is.matedog wrote: ↑02 Aug 2022, 12:17pmSister in law got married this weekend.
