Yeah, it looks like it'll be more harrowing than Steve Jones' memoir. We tend to think those who go into entertainment are drawn by celebrity, they pursue it, but is the norm actually escaping from an ugly existence?revbob wrote: ↑23 Sep 2022, 7:33amDamn, that has to be a tough read.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑23 Sep 2022, 6:43amMiki Berenyi has a memoir coming out: https://www.theguardian.com/music/2022/ ... abuse-fame

Ignore the juvenile homophobia, what is the melody he's copping in the verses? I'm driving myself mad with it

Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

It seems like a song from an old cartoon, like Warner Bros.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

I like that it has 1976 Mick and 1981 Mick. Joe looks a bit off too.

By law, do all old Queen records now have to be retitled King?
