The only good radio station in Milwaukee has a midday request show. I heard this song today and it was so awful that I had to look it up to see who it was. Watching the video makes it even worse.

I can't believe music like this actually exists.
I live in the belly of the beast for this shit and invariably if I'm traveling and I mention Vermont someone brings them up. That's usually where the conversation ends.
I'm all for people liking whatever they want. But that is seriously bad.

Yeah I have friends or perhaps acquaintances who are fans. My neighbor (not leafblower) used to be their sound guy when they would do big festivals. Vermont is great but the hippies can be a bit much at times

I dunno. I don't think anyone else here went to a bank to take out a loan to follow Phish.

I just read a book written by that hiker who had to cut his arm off after getting trapped in a canyon. He mentions Phish many times, including quoting lyrics. In fact, he was listening to Phish when the boulder fell and trapped him.

Any inspirational quality to his story just evaporated.

Just popped in my brain:

Maybe the first—certainly one of the first—industrial songs I ever heard. A whole lot cornier when you're not 15. :meh:

A lot of that stuff (industrial) didn't age well.

It just comes off as a too-hard effort at being dark and edgy and scary.
