House 4 has the most fucking. Other than if Jenny ended up in the Gahan house of course. Not saying I’d live in 4 because I would definitely end up in situations I’d later regret.
Prince and Madonna have to be on the top floor with lots and lots of fans and ventilation to disperse the intense fuckfumes. I imagine that house would also require plenty of mirrors everywhere and tons of hair product available.

House 6. I'd murder Collins & Joel in their sleep and frame Toto for the crime.

And this is why you check references before renting out a room to a stranger.

if the premise is we're actually living with the bands, every single house would be completely intolerable.
Pretty much this. I initially was thinking more of the music than the band members, so went with House 8. House 2 might be the least irritating people on the whole though, and I’d like the music too, so I'm leaving House 8 and moving into House 2. I’d mostly hang out with the Go-Go’s, the B-52’s, and Ric Ocasek (I’d love to meet Paulina Porizkova).

I think Houses 5 and 6 would be the least tolerable by far, music-wise, and aside from Sade, either one would be a miserable sausage party.
From stories I've read about the Go-Go's I'd have to say no fuckin' way.

Also, how dare they lump Sade in with all that pap.
Maybe I should do some more research, but I suspect you’re just trying to put me off so you can hog all the Go-Go’s for yourself. :shifty:

Ugh, Post-Modern Jukebox and the like are the worst. "Let's play "Hey Ya", but in a swing style."
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Quite fun in small doses, imho. My biggest issue is I often don't know the songs they're covering if it's a contemporary (meaning from the last 2-3 decades) pop hit.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead

I think what bugs me about it is taking modern songs and putting them in a "more palatable" style. As if new stuff isn't good unless you make it old.

Something like Smoke On the Water like revbob posted doesn't really follow that. For one, it's an old song, but also one I (and most probably) generally enjoy in it's original style. So doing a song I like in a different style is alright. Doing "Save Your Tears" or something is what annoys me.
