Pete Davidson to play Joey Ramone.

Also RIP Joey, Id forgotten he was only 49.
That guy's (PD, that is) appeal is a complete mystery to me.
Funny I just read an article about somebody who had the same reaction until they saw King of Staten Island. I don't even know who he is.
The Boss watched that last weekend. I saw bits and pieces and, nope, still don't get him.

He feels like a Staten Island townie won a contest to be a celebrity.

The latter day Ramones discography is super underrated. I was bumping Halfway to Sanity earlier and the thing fucking rocks. Even the attempts at hardcore are good because of Dee Dee. All of their albums have at least 4-5 great songs.

Creed and Nickleback were basically the cock rock of the 00’s.

With that being said, as much as I hate those two bands, I have met Mike Tremonti before in a local guitar center. Pretty nice dude.

Can't find Kory's album art thread, but this Rolling Stone's album cover is just atrocious:
Image
Keith and Mick's heads take up 80% of the image. Keith is sleepily trying to eat Mick's ear. Ugly ass Bill Wyman's mug drags down any album cover he's on and he's oddly shaded, wearing a vampire cloak or something. And they are on a sunny beach. It's all so weird and bad.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Not for nothing did they release a compilation called 'Sucking In the Seventies.'

I actually like this album a lot. The cover is a just an awkward shit show.
